Schools, Parks Departments, Municipalities,
Estates and others with ground to maintain find a Turbo Turf Hydro Seeding
System a valuable tool in their equipment arsenal.
One thing we often hear is that when maintaining
athletic fields is concerned, it is often a problem getting on them to
repair them, because they are nearly always in use. The
ability to zip on to a field and quickly spray a mix of seed, mulch and
fertilizer, and to have grass up fast is a big Turbo Turf plus.
A popular choice for schools has been the 300 gallon size. Dartmouth
chose an HS-300-XPW, Princeton an HS-300-E. Many other
schools have chosen small pull type units such as the HS-100-P which has a
4 H.P. Honda engine standard and can easily be pulled by a compact
tractor, ATV or utility vehicle.
Any Turbo Turf Hydro Seeding system can be equipped with
the "Seed  &
Spray" option. This option includes 150' of sprayer hose
on a hose reel, a chemlawn style gun and a strainer. To convert to a
sprayer, it is only necessary to change a quick coupler. The
"Seed & Spray" option is almost like having two machines for
not much more than the price of one. It works great as a turf
sprayer. It does not however have the pressure required for tree
spraying or deep root feeding.
 Another
popular option for making the pull type Turbo Turf Hydro Seeding Systems a
dual purpose unit is the spray boom. This option allows the unit to
be used like a regular boom type turf sprayer to maintain grounds.
It can be used with fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, fungicide or any
other standard spray materials. This option is available for the
HS-50-P, the HS-100-P and the HS-150-P. The boom may also be
combined with the Seed and Spray unit to provide both a boom and a gun.
