HYDRO SEEDING SYSTEMS

The HS-1600-ZED, is a 1600 Gallon, skid type hydro seeding system. The HS-1600ZD will seed 1/2 acre per load. It is equipped with TWO  27  H.P. Kohler Command Pro engines that are coupled to two  4" X 4", 740 G. P. M. high volume, high pressure centrifugal pumps. . This unit comes standard with the platform and the platform mounted 2" (cannon) turret gun.  The gun may be mounted in 3 positions on the platform and easily moved.  The unit comes with 100' of 1 1/2" discharge hose for residential and commercial seeding applications.  100' of 1 1/4" hose for trimming and smaller jobs, 150' of 2" collapsible hose for large area seeding and erosion control projects.  7 nozzles are included with the unit.  The empty weight of the unit is 2,150 pounds. the loaded weight is 15,150 pounds. the physical dimensions are 82"W x 192"L x 98" H. The size of the skid frame on this unit is 60"W x 192"L. This unit can be mounted on the back of a truck with sufficient load capacity or it can also be easily operated from a trailer.

The HS-1600-ZX is ideal for hydroseeding any job including, roadsides, golf course construction, landfills, commercial and residential seeding and erosion control projects.   Material may be sprayed from up to 3 hoses or two hoses and the gun simultaneously with no noticeable loss of power. Time to spray each tank is about 15 minutes. On large jobs up to 10 acres can be seeded per day with a good water source.   The spray distance with the platform gun is approximately 90-120'.

The HS-1600-ZED is a high performance machine featuring dual 3" suction lines that feed each 740 gallon per minute pump, 2" I.D. jets equipped with a quick coupler for easy service in the unlikely event of a problem, a quick disconnect for the discharge hose, and a bale tray for easy loading.

Typically materials used in one load would be 9-12 bales of hydro seeding mulch, the appropriate amount of seed for 23,000 sq. ft. (any seed will work in hydroseeding), and the appropriate fertilizer for 23,000 square feet (liquid, water soluble, or granular).   The unit includes a chute that allows full bales of mulch to be loaded.   Dual bale busters will break up the mulch very quickly.

Like all TURBO TURF systems the HS-1600-ZED, comes equipped with a long life poly tank that can never rust, the ability to mix partial loads, a simple but powerful design with few moving parts, continuous agitation, and the ability to control the flow at the gun without making adjustments at the unit.
