HYDRO SEEDING SYSTEM

The HS-1000-ZX, is a 1000 Gallon, skid type hydroseeding system. It will seed 1/3 acre per load in minutes.   It is equipped with TWO 27 H. P. Kohler Command engines that are directly coupled to TWO  4" X 4", 740 G. P. M. , 87 P.S.I.  hydro seeding pumps.   The unit may be loaded and operated from the loading/spraying platform.    The HS-1000-ZED is equipped with a bale chute and dual bale busters.   To load mulch, the plastic wrap can be removed from the mulch and the complete bale can be loaded in the chute.  This unit is one of the fastest and easiest units to load on the market.

To operate, both the 27 H.P. Kohler Command engines and both 740 G.P.M. Pumps can be used for mixing and spraying or any combination of applications.  Generally full power is used during the mixing stage with allows 1480 gallon per minute to be used to create unbelievable mixing power.  Once material is mixed part of the power from both pumps are used for spraying.  One hose connector is fed by the left pump, one by the right and one from both pumps for ulitmate power.

The unit comes equipped for most any seeding job.  There is a unique multi position gun on the platform for roadside and large area seeding.   The unit comes standard with 150 feet of 2" collapsible hose and a 2" nozzle for seeding large open areas and seeding with wood mulches and mixes.  Also included is 100' of 1 1/2" hose for seeding lawns and commercial applications.   A third hose with an I.D. of 1 1/4" is included for  trimming applications and smaller jobs where precise control is important.  This 1 1/4" hose gives you the best control on the market.    Seven nozzles are included with this unit.

The HS-1000-ZED is ideal for a landscaper doing residential and commercial seeding, for roadside applications for erosion control projects and any large seeding application .  The HS-1000-ZED can be operated by one person with ease.  If additional people are available material can be sprayed from the cannon and up to two of the hoses simultaneously with no noticeable power loss.  Material can be applied at rates in excess of 300  G. P. M. Time to spray a complete tank is as low as 3 minutes. On large jobs up to 15 acres can be seeded per day with a good water source. Mixing time is 1-20 minutes depending on material.  The spray distance from the cannon is up to 120'.

Typically materials used in one load would be 7 to 9 bales of hydroseeding mulch, the appropriate amount of seed for 13,000 sq. ft. (any seed will work in hydro seeding), and the appropriate fertilizer for 13,000 square feet (liquid, water soluble, or granular).

Like all TURBO TURF systems the HS-1000-ZX, comes equipped with a long life poly tank that can never rust, the ability to mix partial loads, a simple but powerful design with few moving parts, continuous agitation, and the ability to control the flow at the gun without making adjustments at the unit. The empty weight of the unit is 2,050 pounds. the loaded weight is 10,050 pounds. the physical dimensions are 98"W x 138"L x 98"H. The size of the skid frame on this unit is 60"W x 132"L. This unit can be mounted on the back of a truck with sufficient load capacity or it can also be easily operated from a trailer.
