TURBO TURF'S HARV & HARV-E
Turbo Turf makes both jet and mechanically agitated units.
All Turbo Turf units work great for Erosion Control projects.
The HARV and HARV-E are great choices for working with really tough
materials. They are one of the best machines on the market for
working with BFM's or FGM's such as Flextera. The HARV and
HARV-E have hydraulically driven reversable paddles. The
operating instructions printed on the packages of Flextera tell you to
reverse the paddles as you mix. Most mechanically agitated units
can't do that. HARV and HARV-E can. The package also
warns of the problems that can come from a centrifugal pump adding air to
the mix. The HARV & HARV-E units use a positive displacement gear
pump that minimizes air being added to the mix. The HARV &
HARV-E are one of the few units on the market that combine reversible
paddles and a gear pump and one of the best choices you can make when you
need to tackle difficult jobs using difficult materials.
Here are some photos of a job in North Carolina. It
involved spraying Flextera at 3500 pounds to the acre on a wall that was
3500 linear feet and 40 - 50 feet high on average. They used an
HM-500-HARV-E using 200 pounds of Flextera per load and an 80' Genie man
lift to get access. They shot 35-40 loads without a single
clog. If you plan to use the toughest materials the HARV and HARV-E
is a tough machine for the toughest jobs.

TURBO TURF'S HYBRID UNITS
Turbo Turf's Hybrid units combine the best advantages of
both a jet and mechanical agitated unit. The aggressive paddle
agitation will quickly mix a load of materials. The poly tank makes
a light unit that is easy to operate and quick to clean up.
The HYBRID will spray Wood/Paper blends, Envirotrol BFM's Locking fibers,
and a wide range of hydro seeding materials. The platform and
gun are standard equipment. Easily load full bales with no breaking
up required.
TURBO TURF'S JET AGITATED UNITS
Turbo Turf Hydro seeding systems are great for erosion control jobs,
road side work, retention ponds, land fills, golf course
construction, airport construction and other large jobs.
Turbo Turf units are light and easy to transport, have few moving parts
and offer a great reliability. Turbo Turf's combination of light
weight and power have made it the choice in some unique applications, such
as when units need to be transported by helicopter, or operated from a
boat.
For roadside work and other erosion control jobs Units are often
equipped with an operator platform and tower gun as the unit pictured
above. Other options are the stand gun and the area volume
kit. One way or the other, Turbo Turf units deliver high
performance with a wide range of materials.
 Here we are testing a
unit that will be on it's way to Japan for a land fill application.
We are using a landfill mix, which in this case consists of Jet Spray
mulch, a heavy application of tackifier, and locking fibers.
The comment of the representative of the material supplier at the testing
was that the Turbo Turf HS-500-ZX handled this difficult mix much better
than the big highway type units.
 Buried with a full
boatload of mulch and supplies is a Turbo Turf HS-1000-ZX on it's
way to San Salvador Island in the Bahamas for a 200 acre runway
expansion project. Turbo Technologies supplied the unit, seed, and
all hydro seeding supplies for this project.
 This is one of a pair of HS-1000-ZX units used by the Mexican Division
of Paragon Construction Company to construct La Vista Golf Club in
Pueblo, Mexico. Turbo Technologies supplied the units and the
hydro seeding supplies for the construction of the course. These
units were able to seed at a rate of about 20 acres per day.
 The photo on
the right shows a custom HS-500-XPW that we built to be mounted on the
back of a 4WD Mercedes Benz Uni Mog. Our customer, The Cold Creek
Company specializes in Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Slope Stabilization,
and Revegetation. They do a lot of work on the slopes of the
Sierra Nevada mountains and really liked the light transport weight of
Turbo Turf Systems.
